LOCATIONS

Welcome to the vibrant world of OPE! Brewing Co., a charming brewpub nestled at 6751 W National Ave, West Allis, WI. If you’re looking for a unique community experience combined with a love for craft beer, this is the place to be!

OPE! Brewing Co. is more than just a brewery; it’s a local hub where families and friends gather, including our four-legged companions. As evidenced by enthusiastic patrons like Rafael H. and Janie S., the welcoming atmosphere is perfect for both cozy indoor seating and outdoor relaxation when the weather permits. It's not uncommon to see tails wagging alongside pints being poured.

  • Exceptional Beer Selection: When it comes to beverages, OPE! delivers a diverse range of options. From the refreshing “Can I Pet Your Dog?” amber ale that Ben K. described as perfect for fall, to the delightful “Perfect Screwdriver” with its citrusy notes, there’s a tempting brew for all palates.
  • Vibrant Community Events: This brewery is active with events, such as trivia nights, volleyball games, and live music that Amy P. highlights enthusiastically. It’s a renowned local gathering spot where laughter and camaraderie flourish.
  • Dog-Friendly Policy: OPE! stands out for its dog-friendly environment. As Megan H. articulates, not only do they celebrate pet-friendly visits, but they also host contests like "dog of the month," creating a warm community for both humans and pets alike.

Parking is a breeze with an attached lot, making it convenient for large groups. While OPE! doesn’t serve food directly, there’s a Mexican-American food truck, Chucho's Red Taco, parked nearby. This means you can savor delicious tacos while enjoying your craft beer—a lovely pairing that customers like Barry M. appreciate.

The interior space is expansive, filled with eclectic decorations that express the community's character. However, be prepared for a little chill in the winter—perhaps bring layers as suggested by Becky L. for added comfort.

Whether you’re a West Allis local or just passing through Milwaukee, OPE! Brewing Co. promises a fun, casual outing. Grab a pint, take in the lively atmosphere, and maybe even enjoy a game or two with friends. This brewpub isn’t just a place for drinks; it’s a celebration of community and good times!

This place is great. Comfortable and cozy with my pup while visiting Milwaukee. I can't wait to come back in warmer weather to sit outside and relax.

This place has quickly become a West Allis establishment. Situated in an up and coming part of the city, right by the farmers market, Ope! is a great place to get good beer, enjoy a fantastic atmosphere, and even bring your favorite four-legged friend! Always fabulous service as well.

We were in town for Thanksgiving and needed to get out of the house, so we headed over to Ope! Plenty of parking available in attached lot! They don't serve food but Chucho's Red Taco truck seemed like a permanent food truck serving up Mexican and American classics. The interior of Ope is quite large and was perfect for our family of ten to hang out together. Fun and eclectic decorations fill out the space. Counter service was very fast and friendly! I had the "Can I Pet Your Dog?" which was their Amber ale! Perfect for fall, while being light enough to crush a few! Extra points for coming in a fun glass. I also tasted my partner's "Perfect Screwdriver" which was delicious, and I don't care for IPAs. A lovely orange juice-inspired beer with just a subtle hop kick at the end. We would definitely come back, especially during the summer to check out the patio!

Not enough good things to say about Ope. They literally bring such a positive experience to West Allis. I'm on the volleyball league and love that there are refs. Lately the warm fires outside have been so clutch. There's always something going on, whether it's live music, poker night, trivia, bags, volleyball. It's my favorite neighborhood bar and could go on forever. Thanks Ope for opening your spot in my neighborhood.

Love this place. One of our local hangouts with an amazing beer selection. The staff is great and very friendly. We aren't dog owners but this is a dog friendly brewery so we can get our fill of dogs while we're here. Red Taco is always onsite and offer a good selection of authentic Mexican food.

One of my absolute favorite places to go for any occasion. The space is expansive with both a large indoor seating area and outside space. They also have a ton of events happening and have board games, outdoor games, and volleyball nets. Their beer/seltzer/cider selection is robust with a delicious option for everyone. They are also super dog friendly. My sweet 16 year old dog just won their dog of the month contest! They allow outside food and have food trucks available outside for food purchase. I can't recommend this brewery enough.

Had I known about the food truck beforehand, this would have been an even better visit. They have a great selection which includes a fair amount of IPAs. Prices are reasonable. The open space made it a little chilly so maybe layer up if you're coming in the winter months. Definitely plan on stopping back during a farmers market day to grab some brews and eat some tacos!
